Borg Assimilated USS Voyager - Revell 1/657

I created a 1/657 scale prop replica of the USS Voyager, as seen in the two-part episode "Scorpion." In this episode, Captain Janeway forms an alliance with the Borg to defeat species 8472, leading to the Borg enhancing the USS Voyager with their own technology.

This model is truly a sight to behold, measuring almost 20 inches long, 10 inches high on its stand, and 8 inches wide. I've used LEDs and fiber optics to fully light the model, with the windows drilled and illuminated with cold white LEDs, photon torpedo tubes lit red, and red/green hazard lights added. The nacelles and impulse engines are lit with a red/blue light, and the Borg modules are lit with green, as seen in the episode.

I took great care in accurately painting, decaling, and weathering the ship to give it a combat-worn appearance. Unlike other models, which depict the Voyager as white, I've painted this one shades of gray to more accurately reflect how the ship appears in the show.

This model is a true labor of love, and I believe it's one of a kind. I've never seen anyone make or sell a Borg-modified Voyager before, and I'm confident that any Voyager fan will appreciate this nod to one of the show's most iconic episodes, which is credited for introducing Seven of Nine and saving the show from cancellation. So, go ahead and give in - resistance is futile!
